Continuing Education at MBKU

Marshall B. Ketchum University is Southern California's premier optometric continuing education provider, offering comprehensive coursework in both virtual and live-in person formats. 

Online CE

SCCO offers high-quality online education for optometrists to learn and enhance their understanding. All coursework is COPE approved and led by experts from both SCCO and our partners.

CE Events

As of 2024, MBKU is offering synchronous CE programs in both online and in-person formats. Each program awards up to 8-hours of CE units per day and includes a robust lineup of presentations with live Q&A. 

Clinical Seminars at the VA

Weekly seminars are offered on most Thursdays at both the West Los Angeles and Sepulveda VA Medical Centers. The Optometric Clinical Seminars serve as a gateway for optometric residency training.

Certification

Certification is received by email upon completion of a course or program. If you have completed an asynchronous course, your certificate should arrive via email within the following hour.

For synchronous courses and other CE programs, please allow up to 21 days upon course completion for our team to process your certificate. If you lose your certificate, please contact us.
